rayofmemory's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- i've been framed in the last entry title i meant to say freeze not feeze whatever. our new computer died...its fried. it isn't working, and guess whos being blamed for it? ME!!! gee your smart. damnit. ok, heres what happened. two days ago i downloaded two knew fonts(on the new computer)...i had the files virus scanned, checked, whatever three times! then i copied and pasted the files onto a disk and put them onto my computer(i did not take them off the new one tho). so once i was done putting them on my computer i made a spiffy screen saver with them on my computer...then i put the screen saver on disk and put it on the new computer cuz my bro said he wanted it. so then after i did that both the computers started acting up so i had them both virus scanned twice and the damn thing said there was nothing wrong. well both the computers kept freezing up and shutting down and all this shit. so i got on the new one long enough to turn the screen saver off. then it acted fine for about 15 minutes then shut down on me...again. so i got on my computer and ever since i shut the screen saver off the damn thing has been working fine. well something really wrong must of happened with the new one bcuz we ended up having to delete EVERYTHING on it and it still won't work right. so dads taking it in to see if anyone else can fix it. but hes blaming me for the whole damn thing. but i don't see how he can since i was smart enough in the first place to virus scan the damn things and it said that there were no viruses. so blame it on the damn virus scanner, not me. sheesh. its just a huge pain in the ass, and this computer doesn't have a java script thing so i can't work on my web pages. the new one was the only computer we have that has the java script i need to work on my pages, so i'm a little pissed about that also. the java script thingy was on netscape...so once that damn thing is fixed i'm gonna delete our internet explorer on this computer(i never use it....i only use aol) and put netscape on it, plus i'm think i'm gonna upgrade my aol, but i'm not sure...since last time we did it all the things i saved got deleted. i have aol 5.0 and that works fine so i don't think i'll upgrade to 6.0... 01:56 p.m. - 2001-03-26 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
